Hi, I'm Erin, the founder of PolarBakes, a bespoke cake and brownie business based in Ebbw Vale, South Wales.

I joined the Royal Navy at 17, where I quickly became known as the "cake maker" on board, baking for my fellow sailors and honing my skills in a unique and challenging environment. Serving in the Navy taught me discipline, creativity, and the importance of precision—all qualities I bring to every cake I create.

Now, at 22, I've transformed my passion for baking into PolarBakes, where I specialize in crafting custom cakes and brownies for all occasions. Whether you need a show-stopping celebration cake or a delicious treat, I take pride in delivering beautifully personalized baked goods.

I offer delivery across the local area, with collection points in Ebbw Vale and near Hereford for your convenience.

Where do you serve cake?

As a cake maker from Ebbw Vale, we serve cakes all around! From South Wales, and over the border to England. Although we can serve further afield if picked up or for an additional delivery charge.

What Types of cakes?

I focus mostly on Traditional Buttercream cakes. Typically a lot of the Birthday cake requests are children's birthday cakes using Fondant, and buttercream. Wedding cakes and adult themed cakes are buttercream cakes.

Creating unique custom cakes that would not be available from other cake shops in Ebbw Vale. We can also make Vegan cakes and Gluten free cakes both in fondant and buttercream if required.
